Mostly about my moving of accounts.

First off, I wanna explain EXACTLY why I want to move accounts.
My first reason is that there's a lot of stuff I want to have a clean slate for. This is mainly stuff on the account such as deviations, journals, faves, and whatever else there is, but also the username itself.

To explain, my username is made up of three things, all relating to friends I had back in high school / middle school.

Red:
Back in middle school (8th grade specifically) I went by 'Ren' because a friend, who was a guy I used to really like decided he wanted to call me Ren instead of Aren (the events leading up to me Ren came up in IM conversations). I had introduced myself to one of his friends, but she misheard me and thought I said 'Red', and "TA-DA!" I had that as a nickname.

Iodine:
In my sophomore year, I had biology class, and through that class met a new friend. I've lost contact with, but I still keep the nickname I got from him. Anyways, iodine was one of the chemicals/elements/whatever we were working with, and then something bad happened (I don't fully remember), but he started calling me 'Iodine'.

The double hyphen:
Never explained this part of my username, but I didn't think of it myself. I actually could've had my username without the hyphens.
It all traces back to the same guy from the first annecdote. I copied the double hyphen thing from him, as his Gaia username and his inactive dA.

Also, I really just want a simpler username, even if it /is/ tied to another person (who I barely talk 'cause I feel like an awkward moose).


I'll be cleaning out my watchlist, seeing who still updates, who doesn't, etc.



And really, the other reason is so I can start anew with stuff like favorites and my gallery.
